Chatham’s Support of Elephant Cooperation

Chatham Adopts Rare Twin Elephants

Throughout 2021, Chatham has been a key supporter of Elephant Cooperation by sponsoring its golf and Halloween party fundraising events. At the Halloween Anti-Gala, Chatham owner Harry Stubbert, made a substantial donation and won the unique opportunity to adopt and name twin male elephants. Identical twin elephants are highly rare and make up a mere 1% of elephant births.
Harry named the pair “Diamond Harry” and “Tom Emerald” in tribute to his partnership with Tom Chatham, son of the founder, Carroll Chatham. The twin elephants were born in April 2020 and the adoption was made possible through the Magical Kenya Tembo Naming Festival. Elephant Cooperation is very grateful for Chatham’s continued support.
